Now formulated with Rhodiola rosea containing 15% Rosavins….this is unheard of and cannot be understated! This strain of Rhodiola rosea is extremely rare, very difficult to source and extremely expensive! The original PRO contains 5.1% rosavins, which makes the Rhodiola rosea in World Championship PRO 3 times as strong. We have also added L-Arginine-Alpha-Ketoglutarate to the DBM Amino Fusion component to help improve endurance and increase workout capacity. DBM Endurance World Championship PRO is also formulated 1200mg of Cordyceps sinensis, containing 8% cordycepic acid and the amino acid endurance combination of Citrulline Malate 2:1, L-Leucine, L-Valine and L-Isoleucine and L-Arginine-Alpha-Ketoglutarate. This unique formulation will allow you to rapidly increase oxygen intake and reduce lactic acid. This is a must for any serious triathlete, cyclist, runner or swimmer.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP PRO $64.95                Leading Competitor $74.95

As of yesterday, DBM Nutrition has lowered all shipping costs to Canada. We have had situations where Canadians purchase heavier products such as DBM Endurance Super Recovery or DBM Endurance SUB 8 Fuel and the shipping costs were the same as items being shipped to New Zealand, and that’s not right. All orders shipped to Canada will now have the same shipping charges as if the order was being shipped within the USA. We have changed our brand name from Kona Endurance to DBM Endurance, same exact products, just different lettering on the label. Here’s the inside scoop:
The name ‘Kona Endurance’ is somewhat special for me and always will be. Several years ago, as we were nearing the release date of our yet to be named products, it was time to come up with a name. I remember that I was training out in the north central IL farmlands on a freezing, rainy, November day. My mother had recently passed away and I’m in the middle of this crappy training ride, thinking about her, getting sad and having a miserable time. I remember saying to myself, “think about other things, put the hammer down and get home”. At that moment, I thought where is the complete opposite of where I am and “Kona” popped up and in an instant it came to me, Kona Endurance. Got home, shared the name idea with the rest of the R&D team and it was on!
Roughly a little over a year ago, the guy that owns Kona USA(Kona bikes) called me and said he didnt like us using the word ‘Kona’. I basically said, ‘that’s silly, you make bike parts and we make supplements.’ I left it at that and thought it was over. Last summer, on a Friday evening after we were gone for the day, we got a call from Kona USA but they left no message. I was curious as to what that was about. A week later they are suing us for trademark infringement and they wanted huge $$$$$$$$$$ from us. Everyone tells me how crazy this is and they have no shot. Mind you, we are a small R&D facility. We hire attorneys and I really think it’s no big deal and this will sqaushed in a second. Kona USA starts playing the game ‘give us all this money’…we come back, ‘no, you are not getting any money’…..then they say, ‘give us this much money then’…..and they keep playing this game and each time I have to pay lawyers to say no. I was getting nowhere. They went from asking for big $$$$ to asking for money back on products they bought. I laughed and thought how pathetic! Once they realized they were not getting any money from us, then they were bound and determined to make us stop using the word ‘Kona’. If a case actually makes it to federal trademark court, you will be spending at least a million dollars in legal fees, a freaking million dollars +. Even if we go all the way to federal trademark court, there is no guarantee that we would win, even though I am sure we would have, they make bike frames, we make nutrition products, I mean c’mon. I could not validate continuing to spend money on legal fees, its not fair to our employees, partners or the consumer. So, with that, we have changed our branding to DBM Endurance. While on one hand, I am flattered that Kona USA was so threatened by us, on the other, it repulses me. So, Goliath (aka Kona bikes) beat us down…oh, how I wish Kona Coffee would go after…….never mind! There it is, we’re moving forward, same exact products as always, we just changed 4 letters to 3 letters on the label. You will see some very cool things from the new DBM Endurance product line this year!

An email we received this morning:
Darren,
Just a letter to confirm the fact that DBM supplements work well. I have greater power output and faster better recovery. I don’t even feel it working, my body just answers ‘yes’ when I ask for more. Confirmation came for me on a 50 miler with Stevie UK, the Major Taylor Iron Rider’s best climber told me I have gotten stronger and that as of now I’d out climb most of them save the fast racers.
:-) That’s quite an honor since at 201 lbs I outweigh most of the climbers by 30-50 lbs.
Thanks for making a greater product than the rest.

All competitive triathletes swim, bike, and run more miles than they can keep track of, so what is the magic formula for getting faster as we get older? At 51, I am enjoying one of my best seasons ever, and the the difference is nutrition and the right supplements. DBM Endurance has sponsored me for the last three years, and my performances have steadily improved each season.
Since Eagleman 70.3 (4th in my age group, with a flat tire), I have place in the top 5 overall women in the last 5 races. In one weekend I participated in two sprint triathlons, placing 4th overall, 1st in Age Group, on Saturday, then placed second overall on Sunday out of 450 women. Two weeks later I placed third overall in a Half Lite (slightly longer than Olympic), and recently won the Quakerman Half Ironman Triathlon in PA, with a PR of 1 hr,32 minutes for the half marathon. It has been years since I have run that well, and I believe DBM Endurance has been the key difference for such improvement. If you are still questioning the validity and effectiveness of these products, don’t hesitate any longer!!!

Let me say that I could not be happier with the success of our NEW DBM Endurance SUB 8 Fuel. The feedback we get everyday from both pros and age-groupers is astounding. We sought out to create the world’s most potent endurance supplement, something that would help an athlete immediately notice the benefits. We have a saying here, “If you are not sure if its working, that means it’s not working.” You will KNOW DBM Endurance SUB 8 Fuel is working. My guy, pro triathlete Brian Lavelle went on SUB 8, in addition to DBM Endurance PRO and DBM Endurance Super Recovery….and he was completely blown away by the effects of SUB 8. While many “endurance supplements” are basic cookie cutter formulas, DBM Endurance SUB 8 is truly the first endurance shot soley designed to improve long distance cycling and running performance. Once you try it, you will keep using it….because you will set PRs!

Me and my partner Erin traveled to St Croix on Monday to get ready for my 10th annual race on the island of St Croix . We had a good week going over the course and relaxing at our home-stay Tom Peil’s. Tom is a great host; organizing a carbo dinner the night before the race as well as an after party with an awesome live band.

Race Day

With a 4.30am wake up time I felt pretty good and it looked like it was going to be a nice Rhodseycontact2hot day with light winds like I had hoped for. The pro men got under way at 6.30am with a strong field of swimmers I decided to conserve energy and not contest for the swim prime. We broke the swim record swimming a super fast 24 minutes. Coming into transition to my surprise there was 13 guys in the lead swim pack.

I felt lethal on the bike and decided to put the pedal to the metal in the first few miles and drop as many wheel suckers as I could. This worked pretty well as I flew through ‘hot corner’ and out of town, narrowing the lead group down from 13 to 7 people. Going up to the beast it was hotly contested for the bike prime at the top of the beast. I thought I had it until Igor decided to have a little run in with me near the top, so Richie was first to the top. Descending down the beast we nearly lost 2 more of the riders as I witnessed some great bike handling skills with Stuart Hayes not making the sharp left hand turn and going straight into the fence and over the handle bars, along with Tim O’Donnell nearly getting caught up in the action.

With 10 miles to go on the bike I decided to put the hammer down again to try and get away on the bike. I was first off the bike but closely following me was Dirk and Igor, we had managed to open up a 1 minute gap on the rest of the field. I left transition in second position due to putting socks on for the run. I started at a nice pace but Dirk and Igor flew for the first few miles. I knew that it was going to get harder and hotter as the run went on. Around the back of the Bucanneer Hotel my right quad muscle started to cramp badly and I was just trying to hold my 5th position. In the second lap I could see I was gaining time on Dirk but when I tried to push harder my leg would cramp a little more. I was happy with my solid 1hr 23min half marathon and I am pleased with my start to the race season being injury free in comparison to last year.
